Well, it’s been a mixed reaction from the golfing gods above over the past few weeks, with regular afternoon storms and at times clear blue skies and high humidity that have kept the water boys on a busy working schedule.
The Paspalum greens on the West Course are still responding well to the KL weather conditions and look more and more promising as they mature with age.
As for the Tifdwarf greens on the East Course, it has been far less comforting start to the year, as they are responding slowly to the regular topdressing and cultural practices of late. |

As many of you have noticed, we have started a radical upgrading plan on the East Course greens, with half of some greens marked with GUR as we begin to repair and replace much of the previously damaged surfaces.
We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have all the East Course back nine holes totally resurfaced and the front nine repaired to more suitable playing conditions over the next two months. |
