Please note the following guidelines and procedures to be adhered to for the transfer of memberships:
- The transfer of a membership licence is only applicable to the following membership categories: Individual / Bumiputra Individual / Corporate / RSC Individual / RLC Individual
- The Club highly encourages existing Members to seek the Club’s assistance in seeking or introducing any prospective buyers.
- Any Member who wishes to transfer his or her membership licence is required to inform the Club in writing on their intention to do so.
- Upon receiving the written noti cation, the Club will issue the transfer form and enclose a transfer form checklist.
- The transfer form is to be executed by both transferor (existing Member) and transferee (prospective buyer) and is to be witnessed by a third party or Commissioner of Oaths.
- The existing Member is required to make full payment and settlement of all instalments, dues and other outstanding payments to the Club prior to the transfer.
- Payment of the following fees shall be made upon the submission of the transfer application:
Transfer fee: 10% of the prevailing membership fee
Stamp duty: 1% of the prevailing membership fee Security Deposit for transferee: RM3,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Three Thousand only)
- The transferee will be required to attend a Membership Interview prior to the Club’s approval of the said transfer.
- Upon approval of application, the Club will refund the transferor’s security deposit (if any) to the transferor and invite the transferee to
the New Members Brie ng prior to him/her being permitted to use the facilities of the Club.
- IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Club has never authorized any brokers or agents to deal or make any arrangements for transfer of the Club’s membership licence. Any collection or submission of forms in relation to transfer of membership shall be made personally by the transferor and transferee. Any collection and submission by a third party shall not be entertained. This arrangement is made for the protection of the interests of existing members as well as the reputation and prestige of the Club. The Club also shall not be responsible for any loss in terms of expenses or cost incurred from any transfer made through any brokers or agents.
